Sunday Special: A Spanish dinner

Happy Easter Tuesday, everyone! 😀
Last Sunday, our family had a Spanish-inspired dinner to celebrate Easter. We had Paella and sizzling beef in creamy mushroom sauce for our main course. For dessert, we had Churros con Chocolate. My favorite! ❤ My mom and brother were the ones assigned in the main course and mine was dessert. But we all helped out in preparing for this Sunday special.

We were suppose to cook Lengua, unfortunately we couldn’t find ox tounge in small quantities so we just replaced it with thinly sliced beef. It still tasted as good as Lengua! 🙂

Finally, the Churros con Chocolate!!! I love this dessert and I loooooove chocolate!! (My family does too haha) I plan to buy a churrera or churros press as an icing tube gives up on me haha!

Another night of full bellies but most importantly, this night was filled with joy as we celebrated Jesus’ Resurrection 🙂
